This is my first experience with Tucson Alternator. I am a big fan of rebuilding factory parts when available and staying clear of aftermarket trash. I arrived to their place before opening but was invited in (because of my classic Bronco or just how they roll is not known 😆 ).

I highly recommend this company. They gave me fast shipping which I really needed since I was going on vacation. My 400 amp alternator was a direct fit and replacement. It works perfectly as expected and came in brand new condition.. it came with the read outs of all the test they performed on my alt before shipping. These guys are very knowledgeable and reasonable to work with. At the very minimum it is worth it to take your alternator in to get tested, because they can tell you exactly what is wrong with it and how to get it fixed. They offered me a reasonable price for the repair and had it done within 30 minutes. This is after AutoZone told me my alternator was "bad."

I needed a new alternator for a Volvo Penta 5.7 application. The stock replacement (75 amps) is around $300. I found Tucson Alternator while searching and called them up. After finding out I could get a 170 amp direct-fit alternator for not much more, I immediately placed an order online.
